Shoutbox-Dump Topic!

This topic is for whenever you have some spare comments, and wish to share them. This topic can be seen on all the sub-forums for your convenience.

So I am loving the copy-pasting convenience of this forum--it saves me some time for when I'm reposting articles from other websites. My routine was:

1. Copy the website address. Paste at start of topic.
2. Copy the topic name. Paste as topic name and after the website address.
3. Copy the general text, paste.
4. Copy any important images one-by-one, right click and copy the image location. Paste one-by-one.
5. Imitate any important text formatting, ie. bolding.
6. Post.

Generally I have to still do all of those, except for the images unless the page is copy-paste friendly. Else I'll accidentally catch some unwanted page area that will add unwanted spacing and formating/etc.

Unfortunately some of this is unavoidable, as you may have noticed there are some wide gaps within my posts from Dvice, probably from the pictures themselves. Additionally, the forum doesn't double space paragraphs, it only single spaces, so I have to add in another for your reading convenience (which I have forgotten to do).

Anyways, really quite helpful with this feature nevertheless.

Ah, create a new favicon (the little image by the URL) for the forum--better than my previous one that I made.

If you're curious about why I chose "omgforum.net" as the sub-domain, it was because it was one of the more memorable and shorter/convenient letter combinations.

Man a power surge from the thunderstorm knocked out my xbox's back USB. Now I have the wireless adapter ducktaped to the front on the front USB. True story.

Not really. It just confirms that my xbox is slowly dieing. The bad part is that its not on warrenty anymore.

Perfect time to buy into Microsoft's new Xbox model ( ).

Honestly a 250 gigabyte hard drive would be incredibly useful compared to my 30 gigabyte one.

But that's still a $300 shell-out. I would probably wait until the next gen console, but that's the non-console guy talking.

Who knows when that will come out? Console producers are going to want their motion sensor tech thats coming out to be succesful. So I doubt a new console will come out in atleast 2 years. Im not sure mine will make it.

Stick with the PC until then?

Well I always play online with friends. When we find someone who is annoying or a dick or just sounds annoying we usually trash talk the whole dame to the one person. Usually its a little kid as they buy into it so well. Its not normal trash talk however, usually we try to befriend them and then slowly start making fun of them or just flat out trash them. And usually it ends up with making the entire lobby hate the target, which is easy if they bait into it. I know its immature and a dick move but it is hilarious. And they all had it coming. Also those that don't take them seriously a good we don't go after those just playing the game.

Also another of my favorites is joining chats of my friend that is big into the whole l337 halo clan thing. You get these kids and they are all 12 talking about there quick scoping skills. I cant tell you specifically how I make these kids freak out because when I do it it is usually a spur of the moment thing. That usually involves me getting kicked from the chat and secretly invited back in over and over by said friend until the l337 halo warrior kicks everyone out. Its hard to explain it as it is a more of a you have to be there thing but me and my friends are very good at it and spend a good deal lulzing.

Ahh the good times. Also competitive games are the best for it, like CoD and Halo.

Well it all depends on how many times you get reported. And when you have been banned already its almost like you are on a watch list.
